I have a mate looking at buying a second hand late model low time R44 Raven 1.
Is there a quick check as to wether the crank is a throw away item at the rebuild time..Say is it a year model or from serial No. to serial No. such and such.

Thankyou

Pete Boyle at Heli Rebuilds in Port Maquarie would also have a sound knowledge aswell.

He has been maintaining and rebuilding Robinson's for a lot longer than most in this country.

Have you tried Lycoming? you might get a better response there.

Give Brett a call at Heli Muster, 02 4352 2222
