How long on average should I expect to wait for my License to be sent from CASA ? It's been about 10 days and I'm a bit eager to get hold of that expensive piece of paper.

It is my understanding that CASA take up to 2 weeks to process a flight crew licence. So it should not be far away. If you have access to the self service portal you can keep track of it there, or you could always phone up CLARC and see how they are getting along.

Cheers

Thanks Blackers, just got the application sent back! they are efficient, a minor error was made on the application and it's going back for review. Bummer!

Well, congrats on getting your license Mick W! I too will be keen for the "official documents" to arrive when I finally finish what I started.

I began working towards my license 18 months ago... and never expected to take this long.... Now have close to 70 hours, all the theory is done, so getting towards the business end and the home stretch, woohoo :)

Once I hit the 75 hours will start to hammer as I want to finish it in 105. Starting to get excited, the goal now is CPL(H) before the year is out. :cool_slp:
