good to see the promotion, hopefully the new base in QLD will create some more flying jobs in the future. 8)
A good idea needs landing gear as well as wings to get off the ground.

Might be a comedy...
Judge your success by what you have had to give up to get it.

Hi Guys, just been alerted to comments posted. I am the Operations Manager of special-ops. We originated in NSW- long before the TV show and thankfully are not connected in any way. ( Sorry if your a supporter of the show )! and are now operational Australia wide. Our main role is now thermal imaging, aerial and forensic photography along with our aviation services. Please check out our site which is to be updated again in the next few weeks. Welcome any comments or questions.
Regards

thermal crew (Phil) I had a look at the site and had a laugh at this,
Our preferred aircraft for most operations is the Bell 206 Jetranger III.

But then you also list, amongst other aircraft, an AS350. I would've thought the '350 would be a more stable platform for aerial imaging than the teetering head. Reading between the lines, I assume that you own the B206 and have to charter the '350.

Looking at the site it appears that everyone has day jobs and this is a call when needed service, would that be close?
What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.

We have a closer interest in the jetty, the others are owned by other operators!

After being alerted this afternoon of this website and perusing its contents,Aero Logistics Pty Ltd wishes to express it has no affiliation with this company and is no way associated or represented in any way form or fashion.

The pictures of our blue Squirrel helicopter appear on this site and we have "kindly" requested they be removed. These photos were taken of our aircraft on the NSW floods working for the SES authorities and not the company our helicopter appears on.

Thermal Crew.....I have emailed you with our request to remove all the pictures of our aircraft including the ones which display our Logo and Callsigns.

Thankyou

Pending investigation for unlawful use of photos and information not directly owned by the company under Australian copy write laws perhaps?
Agreed, not a good promotion for the company. :cool_slp:

The new site when completed will be uploaded and the sections that remain and those to be deleted will be at our discretion AND NOT dictated by the insecurity of any helicopter company.

Phil - This statement on your site is actually wrong. If you have used someone elses images without there permission and they have asked you to remove them, then actually you do have to remove them immediately and not when you want. All it would have taken would be to ask the owners of the images. I find our images over the internet all the time and have had to email asking people to remove them, but those who ask first are almost always told sure no problem.

Cheers

Thermal crew, BIG call! You make a claim on your site to prosecute those who use your pics but most of the pics on your site belong to others, like Aero Logistics Pty Ltd!
Obviously got the kids to put the site together and didn't bother checking that you weren't guilty of your own misdeeds!

To quote the special ops website directly:

The Special-Ops web site was due to be upgraded in the coming weeks.

Due to the Pettiness of some, the current site has now been blocked.

The new site when completed will be uploaded and the sections that remain and those to be deleted will be at our discretion AND NOT dictated by the insecurity of any helicopter company.

Not exactly a professional way in which to promote a business. Given the obvious irony of this situation, I did have a little chuckle when I read a little further down the web page:

Spot on! droptmcguts..... I also noticed that their website had a little "Police" feel about it...my first impressions of the cover page, was that it is some kinda cop outfit...if special ops are "so special" why are using photo's of other peoples machines....do they own any?

WHS I totally agree, I also thought at first glance that the website was operated by either emergency services or a branch of the police force, hence my first post about the creation of extra jobs, I think the colour scheme could use some re thinking as well as the removal of the un-authorized photos, as the National Services such as Police and Emergency services may not take kindly to being lobbed in with a company that is so quick to trade on the success of others and acts illegally to boot (theft and misuse of photos without prior permission). Maybe management will also consider a name change after the recent bad publicity they have received over the last few weeks with in a very small community, or take up writing TV scripts after all. 8)

Pegs & Well Hung Start,

There is NO WAY that this organisation is going to be linked to any Police Force.

I agree with droptmcguts.
