GBR Helicopters operates one of the largest helicopter fleets in Far North Queensland providing a diverse range of services in Cairns, Port Douglas, Mareeba and the Torres Strait. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse group of pilots servicing a growing set of major, long term, commercial and tourism contracts. The current aircraft fleet (17) consists of R22, R44, Bell 206, Bell 206L and AS350 Helicopters.

LINE PILOT

For positons in Cairns and Horn Island

Essential Qualifications required:

CASA CPL(H)
Minimum 1,000 hrs total rotary
Minimum 100 hrs turbine
R44 and B206 Endorsements
Desirable Qualifications:

AS350 endorsement
HUET
Instructor Rating
NVFR
Sling rating
Low level experience
INSTRUCTOR PILOT

Mareeba

Essential Qualifications required:

CASA CPL(H)
Minimum Grade 2 Instructor rating
Minimum 1,000 hrs total rotary
R22 and R44 Endorsements

Is GBR the biggest operator in the world . due to "there growing set of major contracts"

or is there a constant turnover of pilots? does anyone on here advertise for more pilots?

Companies go through expansion and contraction all the time roger... It's no ones business, as long as your paid correctly each month and your entitlements are protected is all that matters in this game..
GBR would be a good place to work if you want to live in cairns and be home every night to see the family. I have a friend doing just that there...no complaints from him at any level...
