Morning all,

Looking for some info re: ATPL(H) subjects in NZ, I have searched both here and done a fair bit of looking around including phoning CAA and Waypoints to try to track down some info re study materials etc for the Heli specific subjects in NZ. Pretty much come up with nothing so thought I would post on here to see if anyone out there has any recent experience with this in NZ and could steer me in the right direction, if I cant get it sorted in NZ then looks like the Australian system might be the way to go.

Cheers in advance guys.

Thanks Fill - Level,

I have checked that out but they don't offer the Heli specific subjects other than Law. The remaining aerodynamics and systems, flight planning and performance and loading are separate for helicopters. This is what I am after.
That is unless I have missed something which is of course entirely possible!

Cheers again.

Hey TKG.
Have you emailed them and asked them the questions?
Good luck on your studies.

Hi Aaron,

Cheers for the reply, I just went off the FAQs on their website that states they don't offer the Heli specific subjects other than Law. They did state that if there was more demand they may look at offering them in the future. I'm in PNG at the mo but will give them a shout when I get back to NZ later next week. I also phoned and emailed CAA NZ as well as Waypoints but there is a real lack of info or study material available for the above subjects, hence the post on here.

Thanks again for the reply.

Use the AFT notes, I know of others that have and it seemed to work.
