Hi guys,
New to Bladeslapper, over halfway with my CPL theory, looking at attacking Navigation next, was wondering if anybody had any good tips or extra books/material that would be helpful with my study, I'm self studying with AFT.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Matt.

Re: Navigation exam
Matt,
Passed CPL Nav exam about 2 weeks ago.
Self study through AFT pack.
Get through it all, revise, practice exams - keep it fresh in the brain, sit exam.
AFT / Bob Tait and also studied the Aviation Theory Centre book.
Don't use the following as any indication of what may pop up on screen for yourself in exam, however-
Exam specific for my punch of the button at ASL on the day:
Some annoying 'definition' type qstns;
not a lot of the actual practical map plotting type exercises in the exam, as there are in the study material.
Know your BoD / EoD calculations, few of those... Fk me,if you can interpolate a 1mm gap on x and y axis from a table accurately - let me know... Or not.
Whole bunch of 1 in 60's - get to know them.
Few on projections and rhumbs and greats and what they should would could and maybe type stuff...
Get it done quick, and move on to the next...
All the best
