I can guess the purpose of a "Vibration Reduction System", but what does it consist of on a B206?

The one i saw was an oscillating weight, mounted i think in the nose that balanced out the vibs from the machine.
it really smoothed out the 2 per beat that you can get in JR's. it adds quite a bit of weight but makes for a beautiful smooth machine, no worse than all the heavy corporate sound proofing etc that you get in those types of machines.
not sure if you can turn them on and off, i would think that you would want it off, T&B the machine as good as you can get it, then flick the VRS on, you would hardly know that you are moving.
It works on a similar theory to ANR, in that it puts the opposite vib out to what the machine produces. (in laymans terms!!!)

It's actually a pretty simple mod, a bit like the AUW Increase Kit in most machines, but with a spanner involved. The basic idea is you have ballast in the nose and tail of every 206, and that ballast (being along the centre line of the machine) corresponds to a sin-wave oscillation particular to every 206 (meaning that each set of links, blades, and even paint scheme has a different "frequency") and that with a few mathematical calculations you can determine the adjustment needed to keep within W&B and reduce the vibration to extremely low levels. The best results I've had are reducing the nose ballast by removing the battery. Perfect "0" on the vibration scale every time.

Why would one advertise a craft without indicating what in fact low time is ??? Certainly the most important point .KN

Like your name suggests.........
Common sense and a knowledge of aircraft would indicate that it is low time. For a 21 year old machine I would say TT 3360 would be classified as "low time"...... Quick bit of maths and that's a whopping 160 hours a year!!!!
