Gentlemen,
I am wanting to convert my Australian CPL(H) to a New Zealand CPL(H). Can someone recommend a training establishment in NZ that is proficient in this. Preferably in the south Island around the Christchurch or Dunedin Areas. Second preference would be Auckland / Hamilton.
Thanking you all for your input in advance,
Colby.

You don't need a training school for this, purely a paperwork exercise. go on to caa.govt.nz and look up TTMRA conversion

To the best of my knowledge / as far as I am aware, you will need to meet the minimum requirements in NZ for the CPL, which involves more total time, plus sling and mountain flying. For Christchurch, contact Garden City Helicopters.

Ah true, forgot about that. As a cpl I assumed that total time would suffice completely forgot about sling and mountain. I'll go back to sleep

Done this conversion with Reid helicopters in Nelson several month ago, seamless exercise, great team, Toby is the man to speak to, and be aware, just because you have 6000 hrs, you may not meet all of the syllabus requirements, its not just about total hours, cheers

If you want to do mountain training make contact with Wanaka Helicopters. Based on the south island and you will definitely be in the mountains, even glacier landings up to 8000ft. Very pretty there in the winter months too.
