I'll never forget the sight (or sound) of a 234 hauling lumber off the side of a steep hill in BC many years ago. Amazing skills and an incredibly capable lifting machine by all accounts.

I thought I saw a news article about Kestrel and Erickson Aircrane contracking 6 S64's for the next burn season.

Turbulent times ahead, not just for offshore operators. Alternate financing such as from PE funding can be nearly double if not more to what traditional lenders charge, lets hope they can survive.
