QG Air 139

Postby Flyingdog » Tue Mar 13 2018, 09:02

Apparently QG air sent a 139 up from SE QLD to Townsville to assist with the floods and had a nasty blade strike (or two) while taxing?! Any one know anything about this?

I feel like it may be an expensive prang...

There was a cryptic post on here late last night that may have eluded to an incident, though I think Cairns was the location?!

2 separate occurrences I believe, hangar rash and decided to take on a stand while in ground taxi.

If the aircraft has taxied into a stand and sustained serious damage then that will require a report to the ATSB.

Not all reportable incidents/accidents make it to the Website.
