No chance, the coaxial system has been around for years. From mechanical point all you HP goes to the rotor head without the losses in the TR. Now the valour 280 is out there and they are trying hard to sell it as an V-22 replacement. it is just the same mess as the V-22 and is not going to make a mark, instead of having rotating nacells they have a bigger GB mess with a half rotating nacells.

K-max is another verison which first started in WW2 with the Flettner Fl 282, yet was not coaxil but intermeshing.

The Sikorsky S-97 Raider is a high-speed scout and attack helicopter based on the Advancing Blade Concept (ABC) that they have been working on for yrs. Coaxial means you don't get a retreating blade stall issues therefore higher speed.

Hopefully not another Comanche replica which you may recall the project was “pulled” after nearly $7 billion was spent on that program. At the time Army wanted to redirect some of its funds to dare I say it UAV’s as scout replacements.
