Can any one tell me whats involved in converting an Australian CPL to NZ.

From memory the only thing an Australian CPL-H holder might be short of would be:-
• Hrs (especially a “bare” 70hr commercial)
• Mountain flying
• Night flying
If you have the required minimums it’s a quick, cheap and painless process compared to say, upgrading to a photo license from CA$A.
Don’t get me wrong (or be lulled into a false sense of ease) NZ CAA are defiantly the enemy. It’s just that they haven’t sunk to anywhere near the depths that the appalling joke CA$A lurk at.
