Re: ringtones
Good question, remember that we are the bastard children of aviation and often overlooked.
You can get some good ATC ringtones from Vodafone.
But if you want helo noises; Well I "googled" helicopter noise, then I choose which one I wanted (you can chose btn apache, huey, turbine , airwolf etc...) donwloaded it (for free) as a .wve file and put it onto my phone.
Good luck.

I wish I had a catchy saying like everyone else...

Re: ringtones
There are several different file upoad hosts available and that was the first one I saw that didn't require registration or a fee
You should not have any problems with popups if you use Mozilla fire fox browser instead of IE

web browser
use explorer only when you absolutely positively have to firefox isn't the future, it's here & now.
http://www.ie7.com/
also: download add-on plugin 'adblock plus'
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
it'll eliminate a lot of the banners, ads & other crap you constantly get swamped with when 'trying' to surf using M$-IE
if you find a site that insists on IE, then you can grab another add-on plugin called 'IE tab' https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
this will allow you to open another tab within firefox using the explorer exe within a firefox tabbed browser page.
also recommend 'no-script' https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
which will prevent java-script on rogue sites that you won't want occuring
Linux is the best move you'll ever make, just pick a flavour & run with it.
