Just wondering where everyone gets their
CRM
Flying in the wire and
Bushfire awareness
I have tried to find them online but information is a bit scattered. If anyone has a reliable online source for all of these they would be willing to share I would be very grateful.

Most companies do it in house

UAS do a good one but not sure on availability. http://www.helicoptersafety.com/contact ... tralia.php
This may also be worth a look.

The BFA can probably (having got one many years ago the same way) still be done through your local bushfire brigade. If they can’t they’ll know who can.
CRM I use CAAA out of WA. CRM and Dg as a bundle course and you’re done.

The CRM and DG through CAAA are cheap enough and tick the box

Ok, if you have had a bad experience or know of a reason why, then let us know.
I haven’t used them or know anybody that has. It seems on the face of it to be a convenient way for people to get the cert to tick a box. I would hope that any company employing a pilot would run through the opps manual and explain practical wire avoidance during check rides.

At the risk of self promotion, Airmid training solutions do an online CRM course. Currently building the full suite but individual modules are based on the MOS.
I don't want to risk the wrath of the mods for advertising but if your google is strong, and your need is great....... you too can hire Airmid
That sounded better in my head but hey ho.

If you are doing an online course does it really matter what the content is?
You are only doing it to tick a box. Go the cheapest option and be done with it.
As pilots we are made to do DG courses but how many times have you labeled a box???
Chuck it in and get er done. Same goes with met minima on fires......CRM that with your boss

This company is a revival of a few previous companies > Global Rescue > Antipodean Aviation > and now it seems Worldwide Aviation Training.
A quick search of those names will tell you a bit. I won't go into more detail on a public forum like BS.
As others have said however most people just look at it as a box ticking exercise.
I think however that a really good wires course can be valuable.
I learned some good stuff from the UAS course that I still think about when I'm about to operate below 500ft.

Jeez, is Stuart still around?
Perhaps when enough people have worked out who is behind one business name, he disappears and comes up under another. There is a notable lack of solid info on the web site, such as who does the flying, names of any office holders etc.
