Casual Cross-Hire for New Pilots

Postby FlyHi27 » Tue Oct 13 2020, 12:46

Does anyone know of anyone who does casual cross-hire/leasing for new pilots in Queensland? Presently I have 110 hours after completing my CPL-H and am looking to do some private flying in an R22 or R44.

Best to go through your school if you haven't already... either one of their machines or they might know an ex student with a private machine.

Going to be tough getting one with a new license and without some connection. Blame insurance.

Thanks guys - what's the deal with the insurance? Like, at how many hours are you "less risk" so to speak?
