WANTED: AS350 PVT Hire

Postby LVDT » Mon Sep 7 2020, 09:54

Looking for AS350 with "safety pilot" with good local knowledge for 1 week in the Kimberley area. HNWI European customer, experienced (4000 TT SEH, MEH), ELP level 4, willing to attain CASA CoV, lead time is approximately 6 months under the current circumstances. Currently operating with them in French Polynesia, very nice easy going and helicopter savvy folk.
Money up front - PM's with any ideas appreciated.

Sounds great. However why bother with all the approvals just for a week. Why not sit there with the family and enjoy the view!. I’m sure the “safety pilot“ will throw the duals in if he wants to fly, then he can jump back on the G650 when he’s done.

PS: You flying around in that 355F1 over there in Tahiti

Twistgrip,
Fair assumptions - but wide of the mark by a long way.

There hasn't been a 355F1 in FP for a long time.

Reach out to the team at HeliSpirit, they might be able to help.

Maybe speak to HeliWest. They have a few Squirrels (with air conditioning) floating around the Pilbara.

A few of their drivers up there are Instructors and pretty familiar with the area. You could hire the aircraft for the week, put the duals in and call it an instructional flight? Saves all the headaches associated with COV's.
I wish I had a catchy saying like everyone else...
