3 POB & a dee-o-gee... That is priceless. Your follow up would have been equally brilliant. Damn, wish I could be that quick on the radio...

Had heaps of dogs in with me. Quite a few hotties too. Always load the hotties in the front and dogs, and men, in the back. "sorry it's a weight and balance thing". Safety first you know.

First thing I was told, wen I started loading pax, back wen I was about 10 yrs old.

We used to have an owner in BK who had one couple of times at the back !
Apparently dog loved it every time they were taking him up !

Well legally speaking it is not permitted based on CASA rules though private
flight on owner's machine ! Any objections !?!

Adios !

"Loading System Alpha" (Can be yelled at ground crew if they are slipping)

A genuine issue with the limit on a Squirrel double front seat. Total weight limit 130KG?

You need a Dangerous Goods ticket for that. Where possible, they are carried by slingload. Or during ejection seat testing.

Private chopper, private property. He ended up sleeping most of the time the little weapon! Quite funny to have him in the middle seat with a harness on. No problems at all, I think he's a natural which is good cus he may have a few flights ahead of him 8)

I won a case of wine from Fox Creek (McClaren Vale) for my dog in a chopper story - is on their website and in my book, see www.pjlatz.com, page 204. Taffy, the expat camp dog, regularly used to hitch rides all around exploration helipads in my 47 J2, in Fiji, during the early 1970's. After the first trip with a geoligist, often by himself, he just jumped in and sat still and kept quiet, like a perfect passenger. Often he would travel for several stops by himself before asking to get off at a particular helipad.
