Well legally speaking it is not permitted based on CASA rules though private

You need a Dangerous Goods ticket for that. Where possible, they are carried by slingload. Or during ejection seat testing.

Private chopper, private property. He ended up sleeping most of the time the little weapon! Quite funny to have him in the middle seat with a harness on. No problems at all, I think he's a natural which is good cus he may have a few flights ahead of him

Taffy, the expat camp dog, regularly used to hitch rides all around exploration helipads in my 47 J2, in Fiji, during the early 1970's. After the first trip with a geoligist, often by himself, he just jumped in and sat still and kept quiet, like a perfect passenger. Often he would travel for several stops by himself before asking to get off at a particular helipad.
