Merry Christmas fellow pilots and friends

Postby Pegs » Sun Dec 23 2012, 22:47

As 2012 draws to a close, I reflect back over this year with some sadness, to the friends and colleagues we have lost, my thoughts are with their families and friends at this first Christmas without them. It has certainly been a year that has held a lot of highs and lows for many in the industry, I for one, will be glad to put 2012 behind me. After an accident a few weeks back (non flying :!: ) saw me almost end up a paraplegic for the rest of my life and a serious brain injury to boot, I'm simply grateful to still be here to see 2013 in. To all my colleagues and friends, wherever you end up in 2013, I wish you clear skies and safe flying(or fixing if that is your forte  ).

Merry Christmas to all. And thank you to Helothere, and the other mods for another year as part of the helicopter community on Bladeslapper.

A good idea needs landing gear as well as wings to get off the ground.

I'm on leave over Christmas. I really can't remember when that last happened.
Soo, to all those who do have to work, you have my sympathies. Merry Christmas and God's blessing to all.
Be safe this season and the coming year.
What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
