Bell 429 paint schemes

Postby ScoobaLimaLima » Sat Nov 22 2014, 14:11

Hi Guys and Gals.

I was after as much info and pictures on cool paint schemes for the 429 as I can get my hands on. As I can no longer fly commercially due to medical reasons I have decided to get back into my previous love of RC helicopters and have just purchased a 1:6 scale Bell 429 kit. I quite like the Westpak red/yellow theme but I'm not sure if they have a 429? I'm after full scale realism so the look must be true to a bird out there flying now. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

SLL.

Have a look at the link below, you should find plenty of liveries for your model :). Westpac currently operate the 412,117,365,135. The only 429's operating are Navy, some private guy on the central coast NSW but not sure if they are still around may be sold, but no rescue machines as far as I'm aware.

I like Air Zermatt of Switzerland's paint schemes - it's a rescue machine with a hoist.
