Senior Instructor Business Opportunity - Northern Tasmania

Postby Worker » Thu May 24 2018, 07:38

Seeking a pilot/senior instructor wanting to be an integral part of a new business opportunity in northern Tasmania.

Working from an established helipad with hangarage, office space and three piston engine helicopters, we are seeking someone who can manage the day to day operations and conduct high quality flying training to CPL standard. The three helicopters will be made available to the helicopter operation as required for operational needs, which will include Charter, Training and Aerial Work operations.

The successful candidate will take an equity stake in the operation and will be expected to make a significant contribution to grow the business. Your income will reflect the success of the business.

Accommodation is available onsite to the right person by negotiation. The ideal candidate will want to reside in Tasmania for the long term and possess the following minimums:

> CPL(H)/ATPL(H)
> Instructor Rating (Grade 1 training endorsement or a senior grade 2)
> Low level rating with low level training and sling endorsement
> Current ASIC
> Current Flight Crew Dangerous Goods

A trade background would be ideal as a way to supplement income while growing the business

This is not an hour building role and will only suit candidates with a long term view who are prepared to work hard and create and grow a business.

Interested candidates are requested to submit a CV to HelicoptersTas (at) gmail (dot) com

This looks like a fairly interesting proposition. Could be a good option for a decent instructor that wanted their own flight school but doesn’t have the capital to get their own aircraft and AOC off the ground.

I’d make sure to get a good contract lawyer to look at an arrangement so you’re not dumped once the school side is busy and making money.

I would be rather careful about that requirement, paperwork/legal arrangment means very little when everything goes to sh$t.

Thanks in advance for sharing

in finance we call it OPM; "Other peoples money"

$100 buys you a website, doesn’t make you legit yet at least shows your trying.
