With an emphasis on these attributes, an exciting opportunity is available for a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to work on our own range of helicopters at Kestrel Aviation's excellent facilities.

The candidate would ideally be self-motivated, organised and a well-presented person and possess the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

Current Licences Required:
•B1.3 Bell 212 PT6T & Bell 412 PT6T
•B2 Bell 212 PT6T & Bell 412 PT6T

Qualifications Preferred:
•B1.3 Bell 206 - RR250
•B2 Bell 206 – RR250
•B1.4 R22 B2
•B1.3 Sikorsky S76

Skills & Knowledge:
•Experience with one or more of the above aircraft types
•Heavy maintenance experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing system maintenance and modifications
•Demonstrated understanding of the Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft system's maintenance
•Have a proven ability to work in a team environment and be able to work with a minimum of supervision.

Primary tasks will include but are not limited to:-
•Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Kestrel helicopters including their components in accordance with company and CASA procedures.
•Maintain the Company's Engineering Standards.
•Ensure correct compilation and completion of aircraft documentation in accordance with company procedures, prior to the release of aircraft.
•Required to travel to Fire Bases and maintain aircraft during the fire season.
•Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer
