Toll Helicopters is now offering opportunities for qualified professionals looking to join a team which delivers aeromedical helicopter services to the NSW and ACT Governments and world-class training at Toll's Aeromedical Crewing Excellence Training Centre at our Sydney facility.

Toll Helicopters (see http://www.tollgroup.com/tollhelicopters and http://www.tollgroup.com/acetrainingcentre), part of the Toll Group, operates on a global scale and are currently looking for suitably qualified Helicopter Aircrewmen and Training and Checking Aircrewmen to fly on our NSW and ACT HEMS operations in support of NSW and ACT Ambulance service operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to play an integral role in our specialist helicopter business providing safe, reliable, mission-critical aeromedical services to NSW and ACT Health.

Toll Helicopters' EMS Aircrewmen and Training and Checking positions are based in Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and Orange. These positions will work on an equal time roster and enjoy the benefits that these work patterns provide. Start dates will vary by Base, with all positions commencing within the period 1 October 2016 through to 1 May 2017. All Aircrewmen will complete a regular and ongoing training program in the Full flight simulator, CATS VR sim, sea survival training centre and other state-of-the-art facilities.

Positioned at each operational base will be one Base Senior Crewman / Training and Checking who will

Manage line Aircrewmen
Conduct Training and Checking including delivering training at the ACE training centre from time to time
Conduct line Aircrewman duties including leave relief

Minimum 1000 hrs as a helicopter crewman
Previous experience / qualified Training and Checking
Minimum 1 year full time experience working at an EMS base
All minimum qualifications as detailed in EMS Aircrewman position below


Excellent crew resource management and communication skills.
Minimum of five hundred (500) hours as a helicopter Aircrewman
Experience in Front Left Seat operations;
Hoist operator endorsement (CASA CAO 29.11)
SAR/EMS operational experience by Day and Night
Aircrewman NVIS qualified as per CAO 82.6;
Hoisting experience including water, vessels, stretchers, strop, Night / NVG,
Current Senior First Aid certificates;
Current HUET;
Dangerous Goods cert
Communication and radio procedures;
Navigation and flight procedures (IFR/VFR as appropriate);
CASA Class 2 Medical Certificate;
Be physically fit and be able to pass a company fitness assessment

Highly desirable:
AW139 Type experience
EMS/SAR experience on AW139.
Comprehensive night, winch and IFR experience
Candidates not meeting minimum requirements may be considered based on experience. Military experience in a similar environment will be considered.
