If you have flown firefighting ops before then you won't break a sweat at all about this taking your job in the future.
Just like the mustering guys and any other SAR op there is far too much judgement and crew co-ORD involved to be replaced by pilotless helicopters.
That being said there is definitely a market for UAV's to replace intel/linescan and mapping etc.

There is zero logic converting manned to unmanned airframes. Waste of time and huge areas that can be used for payloads, only used as it is easier to get them into the airspace.
Need to be designed from the ground up as unmanned.

Sideshow, did a good job on an open area, no obstacles, no wires, and put out a small fire (something like my bbq). And how many tries before they hit the target, bet it wasn't just one.
Add in 3 or 4 other helicopters, an actual bushfire, lots of smoke, wind, turbulence and then see how it goes.
I'm sure they'll improve, but not for a while.
