CRM wire course

Postby Helicoil » Thu Sep 12 2019, 23:39

Hi everyone

Is anyone here aware of any CRM in the wire environment courses coming up in the near future?

Thanks,

H.

Do you want a CRM or a "Flying in the wire environment" course?

Pretty sure they're two different things (at least they have been in the past when I've done them). Would be great if they could combine them.

I'm looking to do a refresher of UAS's "CRM in the Wire & Obstruction Environment" course - or equivalent

Sims Parker Consulting, who used to partner with UAS, are now running CRM and hazard avoidance in the low level environment which includes wire strike awareness content. They have just held two courses in NSW in July and September, and one or two other locations in Aus I believe. I’m not aware of any more planned dates but Lyn Sims can be contacted on lyn.simsparker@gmail.com

If you do manage to get dates and locations would be great if you could share on here.
I'd be interested in attending a wires in the environment course too.
Cheers

Give these guys a message. was a good course and lots of information. having said that don't have anything to compare it to.

CRM is a different course and unless the company you are going for a job requires it? I'd pass. its only valid for 2yrs so is a waste of time and money. not overly relevant for choppers unless your offshore or in Multi crew Aircraft. if you do go for a job that needs it, go do it just before you start then it'll be valid for longer.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
