VIC Fire contracts

Big losers are Heliserv (2 machines) and PHS (1),
Microflight gained spots and few new players

I believe the type 3 aircraft for bucketing are a deal with Hancock Victoria Pltns and the protection of their forest assets. Hancock pick up the a large proportion of the cost but the machines are still available to the Vic Airdesk.

I personally think the 120 would be a great air attack platform.......You'll be hard pressed to find an A.A.S not wanting to put their hands up to fly for hours with the luxury of aircon on a 35+ day.......or pilot for that matter.

EC120 with one pax on board at a low power setting has got fantastic endurance. Should be a great little A.A platform.

I'd happily fly it for Jayrow.

Hancock explains the HVP tag then, well done.

Yeah the ec120 aircon would be nice, good point and noted, pretty quick and good viz too. I was just saying there not known for there hot weather performance and its vulnerable fenstrom blades with off airport landings but good to see something different this year for a change.

Seems Kestrel has done alright out of the draw. Good on them, a solid Australian company.

Swings and roundabouts. The early rush of work in Vic will surely amount to be a fizzer of a season now that all the predictions are in to be a big one.

What tanks are these?

The ones that won the bulk of the contracts over simplex or Helitak tanks.
