AW139 Window Fogging

Postby Over Talk » Mon Mar 9 2020, 22:12

Hello,

Does anyone have any operational experience with and suggestions for clearing / preventing AW139 windows from fogging up in a tropical environment?

Thanks,

As per RFM try MAN heat and Fan 3 and angle the vents to side windows.

Also try Ram or Vent as that can assist as well, it’s not perfect but will help.

Had this problem in NZ all the time. Albert not with a AW

Motorbike riders here would know the product, as lenses get the benefit of you breathing directly on to them. Started using catcrap cleaner/polish and never had any issues since

If you want to try it out; use it on a bit on part of the window that is to the side and see the difference for yourself

Spit on it like the scuba people do for their masks. Might need a lot of spit...

Bus drivers used to use Windex spray when driving up the mountains to the snow in Victoria.

I know its not the tropics but just heat/cold in reverse.
And not sure how it would work or be good Perspex.

or try this
