Nice to see a new addition to the Tasmanian rescue helicopter fleet.

Will be interesting to watch the relationship between Rotor Lift and and the Queensland based owner of the helicopter. Will the initial 12 month operation turn into a two operator based business model.

Re: Tasmanian Rescue Helicopter.
Smaller operators are being squeezed slowly out of the aviation market, from flight schools to GA charter to MPT, if regulation doesn't do it, money and market forces will.

Who's running the machines? I'm guessing Life Flight looking at the colour scheme.
Did this go out to tender or was it just a knee jerk reaction to COVID and LF were in the "right tine, right place" to initiate the contract???

I wish I had a catchy saying like everyone else...

It’s down here on a 12 month contract, the Tasmanian Government has spent millions installing elevated helipads at Burnie & Latrobe hospitals and a rooftop helipad on the Hobart hospital, Launceston is yet to be done, as all machines land to the South of the main building on the ground.
