HNZ gone...

Postby integrity » Tue Dec 30 2014, 02:10

I see that only one year after closing their longtime base at Perth Airport, HNZ have also closed their flash new hangar at Jandakot.
Interesting...

They still have a busy base at Karratha flying MPT. The usual Sale stuff and operations in NZ and ASIA. It's only the fire fighting helicopters that have gone....after they lost the fire fighting contract, funnily enough

I applied to HNZ in Australia and also spoke to NZ being told they had won a major contract . Not having enough experience for their requirements, I have found work else where. Does anyone know what major contract they won.
What happened to the operation in perth, they seemed very proactive

Think they've picked up a contract in PNG using 412's starting in a couple of months.

No idea, don't work for them. Got an email out of the blue asking if I were interested in an upcoming b412 png touring slot. About a month or two earlier they were also canvassing for captains for their karratha base in the 109.

HNZ have apparently just made a few captains redundant.
