R44 overboost
Was talking to a friend today who brought up the topic of over boosting a 44/22. While the manual and Maintenance manual set the limits for boost in these helicopter I cannot find anything that relates to what your requirements are for an over boost if you ever had one in relation to any inspections or maintenance. So I was just wondering if anyone knows what the procedure would be technically for one of these helicopters in such an event. Can any engineers shed any light?

Is this a G'up? No supercharging or turbos on a 44 or 22 dummie.

You don't need a super/turbo to over boost a de-rated engine

It's more of a guideline than a redline...
