Karman Aerospace new KARGO UAV.
The quadcopter Kargo drone is designed to carry a payload of up to 800 lb. (around 360 kg) and self-deploy with no payload to a distance of over 500 nautical miles (925 km). It will be powered by a 300-horsepower turbine engine and use conventional transmission technology to drive its four teetering rotor system.

Is it any cheaper/more efficient than using a 44? Surely if this design was better conventional helicopters would look like this.

It is not a conventional helicopter, this airframe is designed for cargo and autonomous.
360 Kg and 900km range, this is all cargo capability.
