Very sad. My heartfelt thoughts to the friends and families of those involved.

The most telling pic for me is the one of the tail, looking toward the cabin. At first I was wondering how the paint came to peel off in that way, but now I'm thinking that the TR gearbox seized and the TR driveshaft just kept twisting - wringing out the tailcone like some hand-washed laundry - before the gearbox snapped off. Extreme forces indeed.

Cause seems still to be a mystery.
Having pax on board that flight seems wrong, at best.
