Most of the east coast operators are seeking fill in/roster pilots for fires ATM.
Do a ring around.
You should get something.

FAA would be handy for sure! Visa seems to be an issue?

E3 visas are easy to get, especially for firefighting companies.

If you can get an interview at the American Embassy. How's that in Australia? I've been trying to get one here in South Africa since November and the first appointment I can get is end of June.

Anyone had an experience getting one in Oz lately?

Cheers

Let me ask some friends who are here in the US where they renewed their E3 recently.

I buddy of mine got a fresh one for sure for Fire season last year.

Canada has long delays for E3 renewals for the same reason. Hopefully things improve

I believe it's possible to renew but an initial requires an interview.
